Nightly Prayers and Meditations; 1 of 2

Before I begin I need to apologise for my extremely long absence. Life has a way of getting between what I do and what I write. I do, however, try to balance the two, although, perhaps I do not have the time as much now as I did before to write about it.
It would seem from a quick review of what I have previously written, I have not updated the ritual and prayer side of things; there is not near enough Sumerian, which I have worked on previously, on this blog as there should be.
I will start with simplicity to get myself back in the motion of writing. The prayers, and mediation done both on the weekends (Monday-Tuesday if I am not at home) and at night. So let us begin.

Before any words are spoken I will always kiss my finger to my fore head and in. Sweeping motion bringing it to my heart before kneeling prostrate before my altar( which encompasses the pantheon I worship, not just Enki.), and with this I will utter;
  "Hail my Lord Enki;
Enki that is,
Enki that was
Enki that is to be,
God and lord Enki, please watch over me."

Rise briefly, repeating the same hand motions as the above before continuing on with the whole prayer, involving the whole pantheon this time;

"Hail my Lord Enlil,
Hail my lady Inanna,
Hail my lord Utu,
Hail my lady Mami,
Hail my lord Marduk
Hail my lord
An
Hail my lady Ki."

Repeating the hand motions and raising yourself a little on your knees I will then do a separate prayer  to Inanna. Although I am a child of Enki, a child of Wisdom, I am also a daughter of Inanna, a daughter of love. Her practices are sacred to me, as is her worship.

"Belet Ishtariyya
My light is your light.
Be let Ishtariyya
My love is your love.
Be let Ishtariyya
My life is your life."

This is repeated seven times with your head bowed palms facing upwards, towards the heavens, and seven times with your palms held up in a position of surrender, or as if you were palm to Palm facing someone.  I do this positioning directly facing my effigy of Inanna.
