Learning.

Ah, we're almost in to Autumn, the smell of winter is in the air, and for some strange reason I look forward to this winter. Look forward to Samhain and Yule and the anniversary of my announced Birth to Lord Enki and the Anunnaki. The day I willingly, and out of love gave my my life, body, soul, mind and heart to Enki. And the relationship has become stronger and more powerful over time. I am his child. He is my father.
This September I started two courses; One Critical thinking, the other philosphy, both interesting subjects, both for the aspect of knowledge-For do we not all seek to know. Are we all not children to knowledge, wanting to learn and grow. Even if we do not know it, we learn something new every day, and it helps us grow a little more.
Something which I learned in my philosophy class today was the four Greek words for Love and their meaning or the 'Four loves.':
Eros-Erotic love-sexual relationships
Philos-Communion of souls/soul mate (not sexual)
Storgé-Love for a friend or family member
agapé-Unconditional love for humans.
(Little bit more information on the web if needed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Four_Loves . )
I note these as each of them remind me of the Goddess Ishtar. And what she represents as a whole. It made me smile in my lesson to think about.
I have found myself studying and thinking more over the past couple of days. I am not sure if that is having the powerful effect on my mind to construct odd dreams of Inanna and Enki, but who knows!
It feels as though I have taken in a lifetime of studying, when in fact, I have only had two lessons, a listen to a radio pod cast (On Sacred sexuality), books and notes to go on. I'm not sure if i'm reading ahead of myself, or taking in too much-Either way all knowledge is worth having, even if it does hurt your brain!

Dedicated to Inanna.
